Apply as Verified Contributor

Verified contributors are individuals or groups of individuals that contribute to a protocol as core developers and researchers with technical knowledge and expertise in the fields of blockchain, data, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, etc, and are vetted by a DAO community.

In order to become a Verified Contributor, you can follow the following steps:

  1. Click the "Become a Verified Contributor" button located on the top right of the homepage

  1. Connect to your social accounts to begin the verification process

  1. Fill in the form with details outlining your qualifications to be a Verified Contributor

  2. Add any relevant links that maybe helpful for other Verified Contributors to validate

  3. Click the "Submit for Review" button to send your application

  4. Your profile should now display a "Pending Approval" status while awaiting for approval from Verified Contributors

  1. Once approved, your status will change and the "Verified Contributor" icon will be displayed in your profile


Approving new Verified Contributors

As contributors apply to become a Verified Contributors, a subsection of existing Verified Contributors will have the responsibility to evaluate and approve their qualifications. This subsection is referred to as the OpenR&D Management DAO and its members can be changed at any time by the OpenR&D DAO.

Verified contributors are individuals or groups of individuals that contribute to a protocol as core developers and researchers with technical knowledge and expertise in the fields of blockchain, data, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, etc, and are vetted by a DAO community.

  1. Review each candidacy carefully, considering the applicant's profile, past works, and relevant skills

  2. If you believe that the candidate is qualified, click the "Approve" button to cast your vote

  3. Once the voting threshold is passed, the individual will receive an ERC-721 token token to indicate their status as a Verified Contributor
